Cod a la Provencale.

One of my grand mother, meme Dechamp, lived in Fecamp en Normandie et l'autre, Mamam Jean, lived in L'Estaque in the South of France. The two of them made salted Cod very often. they made it differently. Meme Dechamp made her Cod in cream sauce with steamed potatoes . Maman Jean cooked her Cod in tomatoes sauce.  I like these two different dishes made with salted Cod . In France, in that time, salted Cod was not very expensive and it was a popular dish . Now here in the USA salted Cod is very expensive. I will eventually get some salted Cod and make it in  cream sauce. But right now since I had some fresh Cod I decided to make it in Tomatoes sauce like Maman Jean made her salted Cod. It turned out different with fresh Cod but still very delicious. here is my recipe
